Workshop training series – Get experimenting, up your resilience

  • 3 x 90-minute workshops over 6-8 weeks and access to the Positive Experiments platform with weekly videos.
  • Session 1: on Positive Psychology and resilience – the basics.
    • Key learnings: at the end of the session you’ll:
    • Understand how positivity and resilience are connected
    • Know how to switch on positivity in a way that works for you.
    • You’ll have bonded with other participants through the experiments.
    • Leave with access to Positive Experiments’s weekly videos so you can continue your journey of positivity and resilience in between the live sessions.
  • Session 2: Dealing with stress
    • Key learnings: at the end of the session you’ll:
    • Have insight into how stress works.
    • Understand the difference between embodied stress and the stressor.
    • Have experimented with different ways to alleviate stress.
    • Have insight into your stressors and how you can take appropriate action.
    • Know what works for you to deal with stress in the short- and long-term.
  • Session 3: Building collective resilience | Dealing with uncertainty and negativity
  • We dive deeper and tackle some of the common misconceptions: why thinking positively and sugarcoating don’t work | why no negativity and uncertainty allowed backfires | Why comparison is the death of happiness and aggravates suffering and other common misconceptions.
    • Key learnings: at the end of the session you’ll:
    • Have insight into the common misconceptions on positivity and corresponding scientific insights from positive psychology and interpersonal neurobiology.
    • Go for a genuinely positive approach that works for you.
    • Be able to effectively respond to negativity and uncertainty at work and in your personal life.
    • Know how empathy, holding the space and telling it straight are part of building collective resilience in difficult times with the people around you.
    • You’ll leave with plenty of experiments to continue learning afterwards.
